The Max Planck Society is one of the world’s most prominent and well-respected research institutions.
Knowledge is everything. But have you ever wondered where knowledge comes from?
The Max Planck Society is one of the world’s most prominent and well-respected research institutions. Since its establishment in 1948 the Society has produced no fewer than 18 Nobel Prize winners.
Today, more than ever, the focus of the Society is to bring together the finest scientific minds and provide them with cutting edge technology that allows them to push the frontiers of knowledge still further.
So, imagine how thrilled we were to get a call early in 2015 from the Society’s Birgit Adam. 2015 is the International Year of Light and also marks 100 years since Einstein published his general theory of relativity. Against the backdrop of this landmark year, Birgit and her team were looking for a way to present the Society’s aims and achievements to a wider audience. Working closely with them, we conceived this visually stunning animation which perfectly encapsulates the Society’s raison d’etre and which will endure for years to come.
